When There’s Always A Movie For Class

At Minds Matter, we’re always thinking about things: students, mentors, teachers. While we spend a great deal of time talking about our students and their mentors we’d like to take a minute to think about teachers. And what better time to do so than over Thanksgiving, when you might be spending time with some family or friends, overeat and get sleepy. Like a great teacher would remind you in this instance, just because you overeat, there’s no time to slack!.

We agree. That’s why we recommend you jump off the couch and suggest a few inspiring movies about teachers to watch with your friends and family. Because many of the best movies about teachers are older (yes, even back to the 1960s, like To Sir With Love) you don’t need a Netflix subscription to stream them.
